Hello, Collective! Once again, we find ourselves through the looking glass, to the other side of yet another retrograde. And I won’t speak for you, but this one was a doozy for your KC Crew. A lot of hermiting, healing, introspection, purging and processing occurred over the last few weeks. And like the green leaves and blossoms unfurling in our lovely neighborhoods, we also bloom again! Hopefully, you are all feeling the energy shift into manifest mode. This new moon in Taurus (5/19) is all about the long game; making plans that will help our future. Planting those seeds (from business goals to romance and everything in between) and watching them grow throughout the next lunar cycle. Nurture them well. It’s Gemini season, so our extroverted aspect is awakened, and we are pulled to making connections! Reconnect with old friends, family, coworkers that light us up and bring us joy. Or maybe you are called to broaden and expand your vibe tribe and meet some new likeminded, beautiful souls! Tell us a little about yourself! I’m a shop manager with Kindred Collective and so grateful to be working this dream job with the most incredible women! I also work at the Columbus Museum of art and have been there for just under 2 years now. I’ve lived in Grove City my whole life and the mission of the Kindred Collective to create a safe, sacred space for everyone really spoke to me. I hope to provide positivity and safety for any and all visitors in our collective. How long have you been working at Kindred Collective? I’ve been working at Kindred Collective since the beginning of 2023! I’m a shop manager (you’ll find me in the shop every Wednesday) and I also run our website and online store. I dabble in quite a few things around the collective but mainly focus on making jewelry like bracelets, earrings, and necklaces at our bead bar! What do you love the most about working at Kindred? I love the diversity and open-mindness of both the Kindred Crew and our patrons. Everyone who comes in has such a unique story to share which inspires me to explore various avenues of spirituality in my practice. Learning has always been something I love and Kindred is the perfect place to do that. What did you want to be when you got older? I had dreams of being on Broadway for a while and being an actress (guess my sign lol). But I’ve now decided I’d like to help people and the planet in any way I can. I hope to someday work in comparative studies, developing a deeper understanding of the different cultures in the world - more specifically, their relationships with the environment. What is your astrological sign? Leo What is your favorite color? Green Favorite crystal? Rainbow Moonstone & Sunstone Favorite Season? Spring What is your favorite time of day? I always enjoy getting ready in the morning. It’s my time to reflect and set goals for my day and spend time with myself. I use this time to practice mindfulness. How do you like to spend your down time? In my free time I enjoy crocheting, watercolor painting, baking and growing my collections of plants, teapots, and crystals. If you could share one message with the Collective, what would it be? I want everyone that visits the Collective to know that they matter, they’re important, and they always have a safe place to come.
